ABOUT Grand Development of Rome

“The Grand” has 5 NYC Loft style apartments in 2 and 3 bedroom configurations and two commercial spots. The first of it’s kind, luxury living in Urban Rome, the Grand has enjoyed full occupancy since opening in April 2011. Proving our theory that upscale, no maintenance living is an under served market in our area.

The cornerstone of our properties is the former GRAND Hotel on East Dominick St. A building with a rich history which had seen better days. Once hosting Frank Sinatra and his band, the Grand had fallen to disrepair and was taken back by the City of Rome. Grand Development put a team together and won the bid to buy and refurbish this historic landmark. At the time, this was the largest cooperative effort between the City of Rome, Restore NY and a private group of investors. Finished in 11 months, the building has become the centerpiece for the East Rome, Little Italy revitalization.

Our most recent project is Delta Oaks. Located on Elmer Hill Rd on five acres a former church was transformed into luxury apartments. We have eight units in Studio-Loft, 2 bedroom and three bedroom configurations. This property features Hardwood floors, Granite Countertops, Central AC all finishes are high end the craftsmanship and pride show.
